David has been responsible for establishing the Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Birmingham and Dublin offices which serve clients throughout the UK and Ireland, representing public sector organisations and private clients across all sectors of the industry.

David's main activities include ensuring the delivery of solutions to clients' requirements, which espouse the principles of acceptable environmental design, engineering excellence and value for money. David ensures that the practice is focused on the design and promotion of energy efficient sustainable design. He leads by example and is a registered Low Carbon Consultant and is in the process of becoming a registered CIBSE Energy Assessor. In addition to this, he is currently studying to become a BREEAM Offices and Healthcare Assessor. He is the head of our internal working group, Rybka-s which is dedicated to the research and implementation of sustainable design practices and the development of energy efficient design solutions.

He adopts a hands-on approach to the running of the practice and makes a significant engineering contribution to each commission to which we are appointed.
