The Kings Theatre, Glasgow

 Rybka has completed the first phase of the restoration of The Kings Theatre, Glasgow for the Ambassador Theatre Group. The full restoration will be undertaken over a 5 year programme of works. The project is being phased with works set to progress during restricted ‘dark periods’ during the year to ensure the Theatre continues to operate. The refurbishment works include replacement of the auditorium seating, flooring and decoration, new ventilation and air conditioning of the auditorium, replacement of the electrical distribution and theatre power systems, refurbishment of the grand circle bar and new entrance canopy and lighting. Rybka is working with Trident Building Consultancy and Simpson and Brown Architects. The total restoration works are expected to cost in the region of £6M.
