Greenlaw Town Hall wins national award
17.11.2011
The Directors are happy to announce that the Greenlaw Town Hall project has won the Georgian Group Architectural Award 2011 for "Re-use of a Georgian Building". The Architectural Awards recognise conservation and restoration projects in the United Kingdom and reward those who have shown the vision and commitment to restore Georgian buildings and landscapes.
Rybka worked on this project with Scottish Historic Buildings Trust and Adam Dudley Architects. The project aim was to convert a redundant and derelict A-listed Georgian Town Hall for the benefit of the rural community through the creation of offices and a large public hall. The building is once again the proud centrepiece on the village green.
