New Head of Glasgow
11.02.2009
It gives us great pleasure to announce that Stuart McDougall is now heading up our Glasgow
office. Stuart, who is a member of the main board, has been based at our Edinburgh office
for over 10 years.
Recently, Stuart has been the Project Director responsible for cutting-edge building services
designs on a number of award-winning projects, including Waverley Gate in Edinburgh which
was the first speculative office in Scotland to employ chilled beams. Stuart has also worked
closely with Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners on a number of developments in England,
most notably the award-winning design for manufacture competition winner, Oxley Park.
Currently Stuart is the Project Director for Project 301, a 250,000 sq2 Grade A speculative
office development which has recently been granted planning permission by Glasgow City
Council. This exciting development will be designed to set a new benchmark for energy
efficiency, with Rybka offering building services engineering consultancy and sustainability
consultancy. In addition to this, Stuart will be assuming responsibility for the building services
design for all existing west coast projects, including South Lanarkshire Council Schools PPP,
North Lanarkshire Schools PPP, The State Hospital, Carstairs and the refurbishment of the
Officers? Mess at Faslane Naval Base.
