Rybka was commissioned to design all engineering services for two Aldi distribution centres in Bathgate, West Lothian and Neston, Cheshire. Both of these distribution centres comprise a warehouse and a number of auxiliary offices within the main building.

The design brief differed significantly between the warehouse and the offices due to the specialist machinery and plant which is required on the warehouse floor.
