Rybka was responsible for the mechanical and electrical services design for this multi award-winning affordable housing project. It includes several inventive sustainability features, including the Eco Hat developed by Rybka in partnership with leading ventilation and solar panel manufacturers, Nuaire & Sunwarm. It allows hot air to be re-used to optimise energy consumption and provide passive solar water heating. As a result of this and other innovations, Oxley Park emits considerably less carbon dioxide than a conventional development of a similar size.
